Abby Sommer is an interdisciplinary artist and designer who specializes in creating experimental visual systems. A majority of Sommer’s work includes exploring the relationship between tactility and 2D design. Although primarily a designer, Sommer also practices drawing and painting. Her work has been featured in multiple exhibitions, including 4Most Gallery and the Harn Museum of Art. When not creating, you can find her at the dog park, drinking lavender lattes, or playing Nintendo switch.

Dead on Arrival, the instructional zine, teaches readers how to be a punk with confidence and attitude. Topics covered include what to expect at your first show, what to wear, how to crowd surf, and everything in between.

INVERT

Invert is a conference specifically held for introverted creatives. An event created for introverts by introverts, it relies on open communication to maintain a comfortable environment for guest artists and patrons alike. The website can be used to learn about the conference, speakers, and mission of the brand.

VISIONS

In this album redesign of Visions by Grimes, I decided to immerse myself in the influential elements behind the album, in order to create a visual language that successfully conveys the niche aesthetic of cyber twee.
