HEY THERE! MY NAME IS

MARCI PELLISSERY

Marci is a young designer that derives inspiration from her own multi-ethnic background to produce work that expresses words as a visual medium. She loves watching foreign movies and listening to French cafe music. She knows all about sushi and loves wearing all black attire. GIRL ON THE TRAIN

This piece showcases expressive qualities of typography to enhance the power, mood, and reading experience for viewers. My goal in this project was to capture the identity of my statement visually through hierarchy, typeface design, and by creating a relationship through grid alignment. This poster is meant to capture attention from a distance and be engaging up-close.

POLITICS OF COLOR THEORY

Designed to capture the concepts of color theory in America, this booklet portrays the deep history of color psychology and how it can be related to the Declaration of Independence. Challenging the notions that the Declaration holds, this multi-narrative book displays how color, shape, and texture can influence human perception.

REDEFINED GOODS

Capturing a client's identity through her clothing brand, Redefined Goods encapsulates a retro and fun play on recycling clothing into evolved trendy products. The name is hand-lettered to represent the organic brand, while the illustration displays her mission of reducing waste and repurposing articles of clothing.
