OPPOSING FAST FASHION
Opposing Fast Fashion is a project that aims to combine my passion for sustainability and my addiction to fashion and buying clothes. This was a constant battle that I was faced with and I struggled to find a source that made sustainable clothing practices easy to find. That is why I created a website and downloadable PDF guides to promote different ways to oppose fast fashion. This is accompanied by a social media campaign.
CARESS YOUR SOUL
I redesigned the album “Caress Your Soul” by the band Sticky Fingers. I was always left with the feeling that the original album art didn’t perfectly capture the dreamy, beachy vibes of the band and that is what I set out to do. Through a super hands on process involving film photography, printing, ripping, and scanning, I created an intense texture that, to me, captured the essence of the band and the album.
Kids Cook! Is an iPad app for children aged 8-12 and helps them learn to cook simple recipes. The app utilizes bright colors, playful illustrations and simple language to cater to the age group of users. I challenged myself in the creation of this project in designing for a user who is not myself.
